Provision of quality technical assistance to its member-IIFCs is part of the mandate of the IIFC Group.

The technical assistance provided by the IIFC Group covers a diverse range of areas.

This includes provision of technical services in relation to the financial software (MicroBanker) that is used by the IIFCs, design of loan products, development of standard policies and procedures for IIFCs, introduction of new technologies such as mobile-banking by member of IIFCs to pay their dues to their IIFCs, energy efficient power supply, cost-effective communication packages etc.

IIFC Group also provides technical assistance to the IIFCs in the form of accounting services, compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and year-end closing of books of accounts.
